Our carpet cleaning process consists of four steps.
We start off by vacuum cleaning the carpet thoroughly (top left photo). This gets rid of all the loose dirt, pet hairs and particles.
The second step of the process is spraying the carpet with the specialized cleaning chemicals (top right photo). This is the extent of wetting of the carpets. The chemicals are given a few moments to allow softening of the dirt. Tough stains are given a good spray and allowed to sit for a while before being scrubbed.
The carpets then get cleaned with a scrubbing pad (red pad in bottom left photo). The dirt is collected in the scrubbing pad due to static electricity generated between the plastic pad and the carpet. The pad gets cleaned periodically to ensure maximum capacity for dirt collection.
In the fourth and final step the carpet gets dried with a bonnet mop (white pad in bottom right photo). Course dirt and particles are removed with the scrubbing pad, while the remaining dirt and particles are removed with the bonnet mop.
We clean Persian carpets!!
The dry chemical method that we make use of is particularly suited for Persian carpet cleaning. There is no water soaking that can affect the colour of the carpets.
You can buy our cleaning chemical in small quantities for spot cleaning or to treat spills to prevent permanent stains.
After the upholstery has dried, the chemical leaves a protective layer that will lower dirt collection. It also reduces the magnitude of stains from spills.
Stains are treated with speciality chemicals that will ensure effective removal of most stains. If you have a stain on your carpets (like red wine, coffee, tea, food, blood etc.) please refrain from treating it with "old-wives-tale-remedies" as these can often lead to the stain causing permanent discolouring of the carpets.
If your stain is not listed here please don't panic. Give us a call and we will do our best to help you.
